A board of 25 directors governs the Charities and its operations are facilitated through two standing committees: Community Health Assessment, and Grant Evaluation. The board sets policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and appropriate distribution of funds in accordance with community needs, the Charities mission, and Texas law.

While the Board of Directors for the Charities has responsibility for the final approval of each grant, all inquiries should be directed to Celene L. Meyer, Director of Grants and Evaluation, at 832-355-4984. Since the Charities receives funding requests that far exceed our grants budget each year, we cannot fund every worthy project. A decision not to fund a proposal does not reflect on the merits of the proposal or the applicant organization.
