Description of the Organization
The Mobile Mammography Unit of MD Anderson Cancer Center has been serving the Houston area for 10 years. More than 4500 patients benefit from the unit's services annually. The unit operates Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as well. The Rose and the Komen Foundation are collaborators. MD Anderson does corporate screenings as well as visits to nonprofit organizations. Mission
The mission of the MD Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, The Nation, and the World through outstanding integrated programs in patient care, research, education, and prevention.
